What can I say…

…To someone in pain?
That they would make it
But they really wouldn’t
I would lie to someone to give them hope and faith

…To someone that killed a loved one?
That they can only be forgiven only by
That loved one and their Lord/God.
I will tell the truth to someone who needs it.

…To a homeless boy on the street?
That he could come live with me
And that I would care for him as well.
I would care for someone in need.

I know what
I would say
To these people but,
What would I say
To myself
When I’m on that
Building ready to jump
To my death?
